The short version: SeatCraft does not sell data, run ads or track you. Most data you enter stays on your iPhone. If you choose to create a shareable "Find Your Seat" link, SeatCraft uploads the seating chart data needed to display that guest page and stores it under a random link.
SeatCraft does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, precise location, contacts, photos, payment information or tracking data.
When you publish a "Find Your Seat" link, we store the event and seating chart information needed to render that page. This may include the event name, table names, venue labels, guest names, group names, table assignments and floor-plan positions. This data is not used for advertising or tracking.
Only what you export or publish yourself. PDF seating charts are created on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet, where you choose where to send them.
If you create a short "Find Your Seat" link, SeatCraft sends the guest-facing seating chart payload to seatcraft.app so the link can open in a browser. Anyone with that link can view the guest-facing page. Share links are stored for up to 400 days and then expire automatically.
SeatCraft uses Sign in with Apple as its only sign-in. Apple gives the app a random identifier and, if you choose to share them, your name and email. These are stored on your device and are not used for tracking. You can hide your email using Apple's built-in relay, and you can revoke SeatCraft's access anytime in your Apple ID settings; signing out or revoking never deletes your local plan.
If you enable the optional app lock, authentication happens entirely on your device through Apple's LocalAuthentication framework. SeatCraft never receives or stores biometric data.
Deleting the app deletes the local plans stored on your device. Published "Find Your Seat" links expire automatically after up to 400 days. If you need a published link removed sooner, email hello@seatcraft.app with the link.
SeatCraft is not directed at children under 13. Do not publish guest-facing links that include children's personal information unless you have the right to share it.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
