The short version: SeatCraft does not sell data or run advertising or analytics SDKs. This policy covers SeatCraft on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android, and the guest-facing pages on seatcraft.app. Plans are saved on your device. Apple versions can also sync through your private iCloud account; Android data may be included in your device backup and transfer settings. Publishing a "Find Your Seat" link uploads the guest-facing chart to our hosting service.
SeatCraft does not request your address book, photo library, precise location or advertising identifier. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising profiles. Basic account information is used for sign-in, and purchase status is used to provide paid Android access.
When you publish a "Find Your Seat" link, we store the event and seating chart information needed to render that page. This may include the event name, table names, venue labels, guest names, group names, table assignments and floor-plan positions. This data is not used for advertising or tracking.
PDF seating charts are created on your device. The system share interface lets you choose an app or recipient; their handling of the exported file is subject to their own policies.
If you create a short "Find Your Seat" link, SeatCraft sends the guest-facing seating chart payload to seatcraft.app so the link can open in a browser. Anyone with that link can view the guest-facing page. Share links are stored for up to 400 days and then expire automatically.
Published charts are hosted using Cloudflare. Names, groups, assignments and venue information are processed to display the page, not to target advertising. Website infrastructure may process request information, such as IP addresses, for delivery and security. Public links are not password-protected: publish only information you have permission to share.
On Apple devices, SeatCraft uses Sign in with Apple. Apple provides an identifier and, if you share them, your name and email. These are not used for advertising. You can hide your email using Apple's relay and revoke sign-in access in your Apple account settings. Signing out does not delete your plans.
Google handles authentication through Android Credential Manager. After your approval, the app receives your account identifier, name, email and an optional profile picture URL, and saves this profile locally to keep you signed in. SeatCraft does not receive your Google password and does not request access to Gmail, Drive or your contacts. We do not upload the profile to a SeatCraft account server.
Google Play processes subscriptions and one-time purchases. The app receives product identifiers, purchase tokens and purchase status to unlock and restore access, and communicates with Google Play to acknowledge purchases. SeatCraft does not receive your card number or bank details. Google handles payment records under its own policies.
Apple versions can sync events, guests and floor plans through CloudKit in your private iCloud database when iCloud is available. Android plans and app preferences may be backed up or transferred by Android according to your device settings; Google sign-in does not provide SeatCraft-to-SeatCraft cloud sync on Android. Manage cloud backups and synced data through the relevant device and platform settings.
If you enable the optional app lock, authentication happens entirely on your device through Apple's LocalAuthentication framework. SeatCraft never receives or stores biometric data.
On Android, use Account > Delete account and local data to clear SeatCraft's local events and sign-in profile. This does not delete your Google account, cancel a Google Play subscription, erase Google's purchase records or remove exported files. You can revoke Google sign-in access in your Google account settings. Device backups may be managed separately in Android settings.
On Apple devices, Account > Delete account removes the SeatCraft Apple sign-in link and the app's plans from its iCloud store and synced devices. Signing out alone does not delete plans. Removing the app alone does not necessarily remove cloud copies or files you have exported.
To request deletion without the app, email hello@seatcraft.app with the subject "SeatCraft data deletion". Include the published guest link you want removed; do not send passwords or payment details. We can remove the hosted chart associated with that link. SeatCraft has no separate Android account server containing your local plans or Google profile. Published links otherwise expire after up to 400 days. Copies saved by recipients remain under their control.
SeatCraft is not directed at children under 13. Do not publish guest-facing links that include children's personal information unless you have the right to share it.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
